Iveta Ptáčníková
Iveta Ptáčníková, born in 1986, she is a PhD candidate at the Philosophical Faculty at the University of Hradec Kralove (in the programme Political Science - African
Studies), and a student of the Department of Gender Studies of the Faculty
of Humanities, Charles University in Prague. Within her specialization she is
devoted to the subject of sexual violence and sexual identities in African
societies through the gender perspective lens. This author is also a member
of the Czech Chamber of Gender Experts and the executive editor of the
academic journal Modern Africa: Politics, History and Society.
