World Conference about Land Reform
Abstract
From June 20 to July 2, 1966, the second World Conference on Land Reforms was held in Rome, jointly organized by the UN, FAO (United Nations Development and Agriculture Organization) and ILO (International Labor Organization). The conference was attended by more than 300 representatives from 70 UN member countries (only Bulgaria, Hungary and the Mongolian People's Republic were represented from the UN socialist member countries) and UN specialized and advisory institutions. The CSSR was represented by a three-member delegation (Ing. O. Klokonik from the National Economic Planning Research Institute, Assoc. H. Schimmerling from the Institute of Rural Sociology and History of Agriculture at the University of Prague, A. Tauber from UMPE, and Prof. J. Tauber from the University of Agriculture).
